How we handle your CV and details

Who we are

HireReels shares job openings from companies on our Instagram page and at hirereels.com. We pass candidates' CVs to the employers hiring for those roles. In this policy, "we" and "us" means HireReels.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us, usually by email:

• Your name, email address and phone number
• Your CV and anything in it, such as work history, education and skills
• The job title you're applying for
• Any message you include with your email

If you're an employer, we collect your company name, contact details and the details of the job you want us to post.

Please don't send us passport copies, ID numbers, bank details or other sensitive documents. We don't need them to pass on your application.

How we use it

• To forward your CV to the employer for the job you applied to
• To reply to your questions
• For employers: to prepare and post your job opening, and to send you CVs from interested candidates

We don't use your details for advertising, and we don't add you to marketing lists.

Who we share it with

We share your CV only with the company hiring for the specific job you applied to. We don't sell, rent or trade your details, and we don't pass them to other companies or recruiters.

Once an employer receives your CV, they handle it under their own privacy practices. The interview and any job offer are between you and the employer.

Website visitor statistics

We use Google Analytics to count visits to hirereels.com and see which pages and jobs people look at. It uses cookies and collects general information such as your country, device type and how you found our site. It does not collect your name, email or CV. You can block these cookies in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

We keep CVs for up to 12 months so we can put you forward if the same employer reopens the role. After that we delete them. You can ask us to delete your CV sooner at any time.

How we protect it

Your emails and CVs are stored in our business email account, which is password protected and only accessible to the HireReels team.

Your choices

You can email us at any time to:

• Ask what details we hold about you
• Correct or update your CV
• Withdraw your application
• Have your CV and details deleted

We'll reply within 7 working days.

We never ask for money

HireReels will never ask you to pay for a job, visa, medical, training or "processing". We only email from addresses ending in @hirereels.com. If someone uses our name to ask you for payment, it isn't us. Please report it to us.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your details, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
